Compensation: Up to 28 lacs per annum (depends on experience).
We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI Lead with strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Platform Integration) to drive integration architecture, design, and delivery across enterprise SAP landscapes. The role involves leading integration initiatives, building scalable solutions, and ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical depth, integration architecture experience, and team leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of end-to-end integration solutions using SAP CPI (Cloud Integration)
- Architect and develop iFlows, integration patterns, and reusable components
- Drive integration between:
- SAP (S/4HANA, ECC) and non-SAP systems
- Cloud and on-premise applications
- Define and implement integration standards, frameworks, and best practices
- Work closely with functional teams (SD, MM, FI, etc.) to translate business requirements into integration solutions
- Handle API-based integrations, REST/SOAP services, and event-driven architectures
- Manage and optimize message monitoring, error handling, and performance tuning
- Lead a team of integration developers and conduct code reviews
- Collaborate with stakeholders for solutioning, effort estimation, and delivery planning
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data integrity standards
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI / SAP BTP Integration Suite
- Expertise in:
- iFlows development and deployment
- Message mappings (Graphical & Script-based)
- Groovy scripting
- Adapters (SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, REST, OData, JDBC, etc.)
- Experience with API Management and integration patterns
- Knowledge of SAP PI/PO (preferred for migration scenarios)
- Familiarity with event mesh / asynchronous messaging (preferred)
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns (EIP)
- Experience designing hybrid integration landscapes (cloud + on-premise)
- Ability to define scalable and reusable integration frameworks
Experience Requirements
- 10–12 years of SAP experience with strong integration background
- Minimum 2–3 CPI/BTP implementation or migration projects
- Proven experience in leading integration teams or acting as a lead/architect
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead discussions with business and technical teams
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP BTP / CPI Certification
- Experience in S/4HANA transformation programs
- Exposure to Agile / DevOps practices in integration delivery
