The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP MM ECC processes, cross‑module integration knowledge, and hands‑on experience working with integrations and POS systems. The role requires strong solution‑design capability, excellent documentation skills, and close collaboration with integration and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
SAP MM (ECC) – Retail Focus
- Act as a Senior Functional Consultant for SAP MM in Retail industry processes
- Design and deliver best‑fit SAP standard solutions, aligned with SAP best practices to meet business needs
- Configure and support core SAP MM ECC processes, specifically tailored for retail scenarios
- Handle MIRO workflow configuration and Release Strategy setup
- Work across SAP MM–FI, MM–SD, and other cross‑module integration areas
- Collaborate closely with SAP PI/PO and SAP ABAP integration teams
- Support and manage integration with POS systems
- Participate in interface design, testing, and issue resolution
- Provide functional exposure/support for SAP WM
- Coordinate MM–WM integration scenarios as needed
- Produce high‑quality functional documentation, including:
- Solution design documents
- Functional specifications
- Configuration documents
- Test scripts and test results
- Perform and support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
- Ensure proper validation of solutions before deployment
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience as an SAP MM ECC Consultant
- Strong domain experience in the Retail industry
- In‑depth knowledge of SAP MM standard retail processes
- Proven experience in:
- MIRO workflow
- Release Strategy configuration
- Strong cross‑module integration experience (FI, SD, etc.)
- Experience working with:
- Integration teams (SAP PI/PO)
- SAP ABAP developers
- Experience with POS system integrations
- Good functional exposure to SAP WM
- Excellent documentation and solution validation skills
- Application Configuration Functional Administrator
- Relevant for professionals with 7–10+ years across:
- SAP MM – Material Management
- SAP Warehouse Management (WM)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to propose SAP‑standard, scalable solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- High attention to documentation and process quality
- Ability to work independently in a senior consultant capacity
