The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of in‑depth experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP ECC modules. The role requires strong business process knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
This position plays a critical role in SAP ECC project implementations, system enhancements, optimization initiatives, and post‑go‑live support, ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of the SAP landscape.

Compensation: Up to 20 lacs per annum (depending on experience).

This position plays a critical role in SAP ECC project implementations, system enhancements, optimization initiatives, and post‑go‑live support, ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of the SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Module Expertise
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more SAP ECC modules, such as:
FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, PS, QM, PM, HR, VIM, FM, REFX, SAC - Demonstrate strong cross‑module integration knowledge
- Lead and participate in workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document complex business requirements
- Design, configure, and implement SAP ECC solutions aligned with business needs and best practices
- Customize SAP functionalities, define master data structures, and configure business transactions
- Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSD/FSP) for RICEF objects
(Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) - Work closely with ABAP developers, including hands‑on ABAP debugging support (mandatory)
- Develop and execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT support
- Perform business process impact analysis
- Track defects and ensure timely resolution
- Participate in data migration activities, including:
- Data mapping and cleansing
- Data loading strategies
- Cutover planning and execution
- Develop and deliver user training programs
- Create user manuals, process documentation, and SOPs
- Provide expert‑level post‑production support
- Perform RCA and resolve complex SAP issues
- Identify and implement process and system optimization opportunities
- Support project planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting
- Lead small to medium projects or workstreams
- Coordinate with business users, IT teams, and external vendors
- Mentor junior consultants (preferred)
- Stay updated on SAP innovations, best practices, and emerging technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
(Financial Master’s degree is a plus) - 7–10 years of progressive experience as a SAP ECC Functional Consultant
- Hands‑on experience in at least two core SAP ECC modules
(e.g., FI/CO, SD/MM, PP/QM/PM) - Strong understanding of cross‑module integration points
- Experience with full lifecycle SAP ECC implementations (Blueprint to Go‑Live & Support)
- ABAP debugging experience – Mandatory
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred / Good‑to‑Have Skills
- SAP Certification in one or more relevant ECC modules
- Knowledge of project management and change management
- Experience in Cement / Building Materials industry
- Familiarity with integration technologies such as:
- EDI
- SAP PI / PO
- Prior experience in a consulting firm or large enterprise IT environment
- Strong stakeholder management and client‑facing skills
- Business process and solution‑oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Continuous learning and improvement attitude
