Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HANA Techno-Functional Consultants with strong development expertise and functional exposure to SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) & SAP GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance).
.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in S/4HANA environments and a solid understanding of global trade, compliance, and customs processes. This role requires a techno-functional mindset to design, develop, and integrate solutions across SAP systems supporting international trade operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP ABAP solutions on HANA/S/4HANA platform
- Work on RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms
- Develop advanced solutions using:
- CDS Views
- AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
- OData Services / APIs
- Collaborate with functional teams to implement SAP GTS /GRC business requirements
- Support integration between:
- SAP GTS and core modules (SD, MM, FI)
- SAP GRC and core modules (FI, MM, SD, User Access Management)
- Work on enhancements related to:
- Trade compliance
- Customs management
- Export/import processes
- Implement enhancements related to:
- Access Control
- Risk Analysis & Remediation
- Compliance reporting
- Perform performance optimization using HANA techniques (code pushdown, SQL tuning)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across ABAP and GTS modules
- Participate in S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and system upgrades
- Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP on HANA
- Hands-on expertise in:
- CDS Views, AMDP
- Enhancement Framework (BADI, User Exits)
- SmartForms / Adobe Forms
- Experience with S/4HANA environments
- Exposure to OData services, APIs, and integrations
Functional Expertise (Mandatory)
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in SAP GTS
- Strong understanding of:
- Trade compliance and legal regulations
- Customs processes (import/export)
- Sanctioned party list screening
- Risk and compliance in global trade operations
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in SAP GRC
- Strong understanding of:
- Access Control (AC)
- Risk Analysis (ARA)
- Emergency Access Management (EAM)
- User Access Review (UAR)
- Familiarity with audit and compliance requirements in SAP environments
Experience Requirements
- 6–9 years of SAP ABAP experience
- At least 1 S/4HANA implementation / migration / upgrade project
- Experience in techno-functional roles with business interaction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in ABAP / S/4HANA / GTS /GRC
- Experience in global rollout or international trade projects
- Exposure to integration with logistics or external trade systems
