Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Lead to lead SAP Finance solution design, implementation, and support activities. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, leading workshops, managing complex integrations, and ensuring robust end‑to‑end finance process implementation on SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead deployment, implementation, and support activities within the SAP Finance (FI) module
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements by facilitating customer workshops
- Perform detailed analysis of complex finance processes and propose optimal SAP solutions
- Configure SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, adhering to SAP standard processes and best practices
- Drive extensive usage of SAP Fiori as the primary front‑end interface
- Conduct Fit‑Gap analysis, recommend standard solutions, and identify customization needs
- Define and document Functional Specifications for RICEFW objects
- Prepare Business Process Specifications, configuration documents, and end‑to‑end process flows
- Work collaboratively with all functional and technical leads to design, build, and implement complex solutions
- Act as the primary liaison with the client for issue resolution—investigate, analyze, and resolve production issues
- Support and guide finance processes during implementation and post‑go‑live phases
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–12 years of relevant experience in SAP Finance (FI)
- At least one end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation
- Strong hands‑on experience in:
- FI‑GL (General Ledger)
- FI‑AR (Accounts Receivable)
- FI‑AP (Accounts Payable)
- FI‑AA (Asset Accounting)
- Experience working in Engineering or Manufacturing industries (preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with interfaces and custom developments
- Strong experience with IDOCs and bank payment file integrations
- In‑depth knowledge of period‑end close processes
- Hands‑on experience in defining Enterprise Structure for Finance, including Company Code setup
- Working knowledge of:
- Company and Company Code structures
- Parallel valuations
- Multiple currency configurations
- Experience implementing and supporting General Finance processes such as:
- Chart of Accounts
- Capex and Opex processes in SAP S/4HANA
Additional Skills (Good to Have)
- Knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) module
- Strong accounting domain knowledge
- Experience working with overseas/global customers
