Job Title: SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) Consultant
Hiring Type: Contract – Full Time
Location: Pune
Work Mode: Hybrid
Experience: 12 – 15 Years
Compensation: Up to 24 lacs per annum (depending on experience).
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) Consultant to design, support, and enhance enterprise automation solutions on SAP BTP. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise in BPA, production support, integrations, and solution design, along with the ability to work across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor workflow instances using Control Tower and identify / resolve stuck, failed, or SLA‑breached processes
- Troubleshoot API Trigger failures, including payload mapping issues, authentication errors, and Integration Suite (IS) to BPA connectivity problems
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of production incidents and implement permanent fixes with proper testing
- Debug Action failures for outbound Create / Change calls by analyzing request/response payloads, logs, retry mechanisms, and error handling
- Modify existing workflows by adding or removing User Tasks, updating forms, and adjusting flow logic
- Collaborate with SAP Integration Suite developers to enhance API trigger contracts and integration patterns
- Design and implement end‑to‑end BPA solutions, including:
- API Triggers
- Process flows
- Actions
- User Tasks
- Decision Tables
- Visibility Scenarios
- Configure and manage Destinations, Environments, and Control Tower for new BPA applications
- Prepare technical design documents, API contracts, and deployment runbooks
- Participate in requirement gathering, effort estimation, and planning activities for new projects and applications
Required Skills
- Strong hands‑on experience with SAP Build Process Automation (BPA)
- Solid experience working on SAP BTP
- Strong understanding of APIs, OData, REST services
- Knowledge of SAP backend CRUD patterns
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
Good to Have
- Experience with SAP Build Apps
- Knowledge of SAP Workflow Management (classic / predecessor)
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite (IS), including the ability to read and trace iFlows for cross‑component debugging
Additional Information
- Pan‑India location acceptable; Pune candidates preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid delivery model
