Compensation: Up to 20 lacs per annum (depending on experience).
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant (Techno‑Functional) with strong expertise in B2B Order Management solutions, particularly within the SAP SPM framework and SAP gATP. The ideal candidate will have hands-on ABAP development experience, strong techno‑functional understanding, and proven capability in modernizing legacy systems using scalable and secure architecture principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support B2B Order Management solutions using SAP ABAP, SAP gATP, SAP SPM, and SAP CRM
- Act as a techno‑functional consultant for SAP gATP within the SPM framework (mandatory requirement)
- Develop and enhance ABAP-based solutions to support complex order fulfillment and planning scenarios
- Participate in transitional architecture initiatives, replacing legacy systems with modern SAP-driven solutions
- Design and implement loosely coupled, scalable application architectures using industry-standard design patterns
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices, performance standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant with techno‑functional exposure
- Hands-on expertise in:
- SAP ABAP development
- SAP gATP (Techno‑Functional – MUST)
- SAP SPM framework
- SAP CRM
- Proven experience in B2B Order Management implementations
- Experience in designing and supporting legacy system modernization and replacement initiatives
- Strong understanding of ABAP-based integration and enhancement techniques
Architecture & Security Knowledge
- Proven experience in designing:
- Loosely coupled and scalable architectures
- Enterprise-grade applications using appropriate design patterns
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, including:
- Authentication mechanisms
- Authorization concepts
- Secure integration and data handling approaches
Soft Skills & Collaboration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Proven capability to build strong working relationships with business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large SAP transformation or modernization programs
- Exposure to B2B integrations and complex enterprise landscapes
- Prior experience working in consulting or client-facing environments
